About
Alexandra (Alex) Weller is a professional historian with over a decade of experience researching the Upper Columbia Valley. Born and raised in the Invermere area, she has a BA (History) from the University of Alberta, and an MA (Public History) from the University of Western Ontario. She has worked in museums across Canada (and overseas), and most recently as an historian for Parks Canada. Alex thrives on primary source research, chronicling marginal or overlooked aspects of history. Links and descriptions of other projects that Alex has been involved with can be found below.
